We respect the importance of doing what is in the best interest of any children involved, and recommend in cases with children that an accredited family mediator be used. Mediation requires that both sides in a dispute be agreeable and open to the process and a potential resolution. This isn’t always possible, sometimes you can’t get the other person to sit down. Or sometimes you don’t want the other side to know yet that you are struggling with them.
Conflict coaching is a great way to work with a mediator to create plans and processes centered around how YOU deal with conflict and what actions you will take to try to repair the situation. Most people run from conflict, conflict coaching can give you the tools to deal with it. Like mediation, conflict coaching is confidential and customized to your situation.
